The playground of Dharavi's slum is a barren stretch of land covered in gravel, big rocks, and dust, with an old metal slide and a carousel in the center. A few dozen children play, run, and laugh as if they are in the most beautiful amusement park in the world. These children of the slums have fun without worrying about their difficult living conditions and, for a moment, they forget the poverty that surrounds them. They are free, happy, and carefree, with only their dreams and their imagination to guide them. The playground is their escape, their place of freedom and happiness, even if it is just a small patch of barren land in the middle of the slum.
